The board and Administrator announced a few months ago a new and official HPV website.
In one of the last OCS meetings it was announced the website was dead and they are looking for a different provider.
What happened?
The message board of the website is moderated by the service provider and not by the clique that make up our management and associates. The service provider publishes and enforces codes of conducts for the message board and unfortunately Kathy McCarthy violated those and got suspended after numerous violations on her part.
All other HOA sites on Facebook and WhatsApp are controlled by the HOA and only a certain circle of people is allowed to post and comment on those sites. Otherwise strict censorship is applied.
In any autocratic system free communication and exchange of ideas is not permitted.
Kathy McCarthy did not like the ethics and integrity oriented approach of the service provider. She wanted to control the messages of other property owners and the service provider was not having it.
Even though the AGM had approved the use of the website Kathy decided on her own to turn off the message board and discontinue the website. All because she was not able to censor the posts of other property owners on the message board.
If you wondered why the website and the message board are no longer in use: The Administrator and the clique running the Board desperately need to keep property owners one sided informed to maintain their hold on the Administration.
